Party Building Highlights
Uphold the great spirit, ignite the passion for striving forward.
Great practice gives rise to great spirit, and great spirit drives great endeavors. Recently, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at the symposium on promoting all-round revitalization of Northeast China in the new era that we must vigorously carry forward the spirit of the Northeast United Army, the Daqing Spirit (the "Iron Man" Spirit), and the Beidahuang Spirit. These inspiring ideals should guide Party members and cadres in cultivating a correct view of political achievements, while also igniting their passion for work and innovation. He underscored the need to firmly uphold Northeast China's vital role in safeguarding the nation's "five major forms of security." In this new era and on this new journey, preserving national security requires us to inherit our red heritage, continue the red lineage, and draw strength from the Northeast United Army Spirit, the Daqing Spirit (the "Iron Man" Spirit"), and the Beidahuang Spirit—forces that propel us forward with determination and resolve.

Since 2007, the Central Publicity Department, the Central Office for Spiritual Civilization, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Communist Youth League Central Committee, the All-China Women's Federation, and the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission have jointly organized a national selection and commendation event for Moral Models every two years. This initiative vigorously promotes and practices the core socialist values, fully leveraging the exemplary role of moral role models to uphold traditional Chinese virtues, foster positive social trends of our times, and continuously enhance the public’s ideological awareness, ethical standards, and cultural literacy. Strengthening the talent support for modernization efforts
A nation's enduring legacy hinges on its people—and talent is the foundation. The report from the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasizes the need to deeply implement the strategy of building a country strong in talent. Cultivating and nurturing a vast pool of high-caliber professionals who possess both moral integrity and outstanding capabilities is a vital long-term plan for the nation and its people. As we embark on this new journey, talent development has been elevated to an even more prominent position under the overarching "Talent Powerhouse" strategy for the new era, providing robust momentum and strategic guidance to help China forge a fresh, dynamic approach to talent management for the future.

Deeply study and implement Xi Jinping's Thought on Culture
Chen Xi emphasized that Xi Jinping's Thought on Culture represents a theoretical synthesis of the Party's practical experience in leading cultural development during the new era. It enriches and advances Marxist cultural theory, forming the "cultural chapter" of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. This thought provides a powerful ideological tool and a scientific guide for carrying out propaganda, ideological, and cultural work in the new era and embarking on a new journey—equipping us to fulfill our renewed cultural mission. Moreover, it contributes Chinese wisdom to shaping a new form of human civilization and guiding global civilizational progress. Leading officials must approach this important thought from the political perspective of deeply understanding the decisive significance of "two establishments" and firmly upholding "two safeguards." They should engage in comprehensive, systematic, and in-depth study of its rich内涵 and practical requirements, consistently using culture to cultivate themselves and morality to nourish their hearts. Importantly, they must translate their learning into tangible achievements at work, diligently implementing the CPC Central Committee's strategic plans and policies on cultural development. By doing so, they can help create a fresh momentum and demonstrate new vitality and accomplishments as they strive to build a strong socialist culture and forge a modern Chinese civilization rooted in the nation's heritage.
